This is the best thing I’ve seen. The only bad is the remote control works on and off. Figure is excellent.
Awesome Metroplex. Love this figure and it’s a wonderful homage to the original G1 toy. Light features are great BUT, take your time installing it. I would go for the magnetic switches as the remote control was too intermittent, plus they turned themselves off randomly. I also had to shave some plastic away in some of the compartments to accommodate the soldered wiring as they barely fit. In fact I had to resolder one of the wires because it snapped due to tightness. But that aside, can’t fault it!
AMAZING figure! This thing is a BEAST and I love it. The details, the articulation, the lighting, all around beautiful figure. I recommend the OD-30 or OD-24 sticker also. It fits perfectly on the chest plate and it glows in the dark! This loses a star because the instructions for installing the lights are all in Chinese, so I had to find a video to ensure I was installing properly. Light installation is a bit of a delicate process, but I did not mind it because the results were well worth it! Just a heads up, you get two different sets of circuit boards for the 8 main light panels. One set works with the included remote control, and the other set turns on/off manually with the magnet wand. So make sure you install which ones you want to use. The circuit boards that work with the remote are the ones that have more parts soldered to them. Save the extra set as a back-up!!
