Excellent figure: clean design in both forms, cartoon-accurate, good posability, great proportions, and fun to transform. MS really seems to take feedback seriously to improve their future products. This is the best Onslaught figure ever released, in my opinion.

It would be a 5, but mine bows up a little in alt-mode. Bot mode is awesome!

Absolutely stunning in every way. Transformation is a bit tricky, but once you know what you’re doing, it’s easier and fits together VERY nicely. Some are saying it bows in Alt mode, but mine lays flat just fine. Possible some have tighter joints or stray plastic hindering transformation? Despite that, the figure looks incredible in both modes and is fun to pose.

Simply amazing, Once I figured out how to transform him I couldn’t put him down stop transforming him back and forward. Really looking forward to completing the set and maybe a ruination set too 😉

This figure is easily Magic Square’s best outing yet. The transformation is involved and enjoyable. All of the panels and tabs fit together seamlessly to make a super articulate and screen-accurate figure. Joints are solid in robot mode and the tires roll smoothly in alt mode. I’m so impressed with the fact that every new Magic Square release is a monumental improvement upon their last figure, both in design and in build quality. I cannot wait to complete this combiner set and see what MS have in store for us in the future. Worth every penny in my opinion.

This is the best onslaught we’ve ever got!
Typical MS, great articulation, great proportions, and this time we even got a great plastic!!!!!!!!!!!
Only thing I wished was for more possible hand:(

Just received mine today and I must say I keep getting more impressed by these combaticons, what a lovely looking figure and the transformation is wonderful and just intricate enough. My only niggle is a hole on the arm which I had to slightly enlarge for torso mode but it was easy enough with a small drill bit!

Bought this together with all the other Combaticons to form Bruticus. Shipping was way too long, over 1 month to ship to the US. It was packed well so no damage during delivery.

As for the figure itself, I have to say he looks absolutely awesome in all modes. While I’m not a fan of opening flaps to transform, I understand that is the compromise to get his modes to look as toon accurate as possible. His transformation is not too bad, but a bit overly complicated in my opinion. Material is a big improvement over past figures and I actually like the gummy muted looks as it fits well with the cartoon looks and allow you to make these transformation. Harder plastic would not have held up. One thing I don’t like is the QC. The other figures had the same problem too. One of the hole that tap the gun in when in combiner mode were really small. I had to cut some of the plastic out to make the hole bigger so it would tab in. The other hole was a little too big and the tab would often come undone. In truck mode, the whole truck is not balanced as the front wheel lifted off the ground. Fortunately, the paint, or what little there is, is great and a big improvement over past figures. Articulation is excellent for robot mode. However, I have one issue with him. When transformed into the body of Bruticus, the part that connects to the waist is not aligned, causing Bruticus to slightly lean over to one side. I took 1 star off for the QC issues, and the waist being misaligned in combiner mode, and the price. Other than that, this is the best version of the Combaticons and Bruticus that has ever been made, any scale from any company. Period. It’s a bit on the pricey side to own all 5, $280 with shipping, but if you are even remotely interested, then you have to put them in your collection.

Outstanding in every area. Looks like he walked out of the cartoon. A must-own figure.
