Absolutely perfect! I know there are people complaining that he has an all black face, but I don’t mind it. Figure itself is visually stunning in both modes and is completely cartoon accurate. Transformation is tricky, but necessary to get the right look. Can’t wait for the rest of the set!!

    Great figure!

The figure looks just like the picture. I got a little nervous while transforming both the legs at the same time because it’s complex. I painted the face grey. Black isn’t correct. It makes the face hard to see. Ultimately, I like it a lot 🙂

Pros: An amazing figure with great articulation, perfect proportions
Cons: no different hands poses, windshield is to clear, Incorrect face color.
The lack of swappable hands and face color is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

really cool, but really hard too for the hand to transform into car. I know this toy is push the way to accurate G1 cartoon, but there is many part just hide and replace it just for design, that’s little pro cons in there. And also I got missile that not match with the support gun in car mode, the missile too small or the hole is just too big I think.

Really good representation of the character and a fun transformation, my only negative is to turn him into jeep mode , the part to put the hood together can be annoying at first and attaching the door to the hips can be challenging to do if you don’t have everything lined up correctly but other than that it’s perfect and can’t wait for a ruination set of these in the future 😉

Just received mine and I must say its another fantastic piece! A little bit fiddly for those with big fingers but a lovely transformation none the less. Looks great in both modes and I can’t wait to finish the set!

Bought this together with all the other Combaticons to form Bruticus. Shipping was way too long, over 1 month to ship to the US. It was packed well so no damage during delivery.

As for the figure itself, I have to say he looks absolutely awesome in all modes. While I’m not a fan of opening flaps to transform, I understand that is the compromise to get his modes to look as toon accurate as possible. His transformation is not too bad like other Combaticons. Material is a big improvement over past figures and I actually like the gummy muted looks as it fits well with the cartoon looks and allow you to make these transformation. Harder plastic would not have held up. Unlike some of his fellow Combaticons, his QC issue is negligible. When in his vehicle mode, the back which is made from his two legs, won’t tab in completely, creating a small gap. The paint, or what little there is, is great and a big improvement over past figures. Articulation is excellent for robot mode. I like that he can transformed in in two ways to form Bruticus legs, one cartoon accurate and one regular way. This is the best version of the Combaticons and Bruticus that has ever been made, any scale from any company. Period. It’s a bit on the pricey side to own all 5, $280 with shipping, but if you are even remotely interested, then you have to put them in your collection.

This is an amazing figure with 1 flaw. Magic Square gave him the wrong face. It’s not cartoon accurate. The IDW version has the correct face. Why do I have to buy 2 versions to get the correct cartoon face? Please fix this Magic Square.
