This Hound (recolor) figure and MS-B43 Shadow Master (Mirage) were my first purchases direct from Magic Square’s website and the figures themselves, the pricing, and the overall delivery process are all top notch! First of all, this Hound is an amazing representation of a beloved G1 character. I did not buy the original MS-B31 Detective so this is my first experience with this mold. The articulation, expressiveness, and just plain fun factor of the figure are outstanding. The fun accessories like the Ravage cage, hologram effect and extra shouting face are also much appreciated and add to the enjoyment of the figure. His new darker color and paint apps look great and the face sculpt really pops with the silver paint. Secondly, MS direct did an excellent job with delivery, clocking a fast total time of 11 days from order to delivery at my door (in the US). Consider me a very satisfied customer who intends to buy direct again!

This figure is amazing!! The articulation and paint job and face sculpt are all incredible, and make for a very fine Hound. While I didn’t get mine directly from here (got it off TFSource) mine had one little issue, the windshield was slightly loose and after two transformations one end just snapped off which was a real bummer. I can’t even return it because they didn’t get back to me, but other than the windshield I really love this figure, so good job MS.

I have owned the figure for close to a month now and i still cannot get over how good it is. maybe its because its the first transformer i have bought since i was a kid but man, if i had this as child i don’t know what i would have done. The alt mode representation is so close to being 1 to 1 with the cartoon followed up by the robot mode that mimics the cartoon. Articulation is magnificent and accessories allow for the character to be placed in poses that match the character that the toy is representing while looking amazing from every side. I cant think of many ways to improve this figure besides maybe the material, but even that is evened out by the metallics used. These make the figure feel high quality and haven’t chipped so far. I find myself stalking their website waiting for new releases. I hope magicsquare uses more mettalics within their recolors. E.g “Shadow Master” Mirage. I hope Mirage gets a (recolour) with the same treatment as the Detective “hound” (recolour).

I can’t get over how great this figure looks in both Alt and Bot modes. The engineering is genius and makes for a fun transformation. it includes a lot of accessories for display options. Well done again Magic Square!
