VERY happy with this figure. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on a legends scale Sideswipe for a long time and this does NOT disappoint. Almost perfect in both Alt and bot mode. I really like that you can put the shoulder cannon on either shoulder. A must have figure for me!

Since I missed out on the original Sideswipe release I was really glad to get the opportunity to grab this new improved version! The paint applications and the new head sculpt are both excellent and appear to be great improvements over the original release. I appreciate the fact that Magic Square listened to fan input here and gave us this upgraded re-release. I really hope that Cliffjumper gets a similar treatment soon since I still need him for my collection and his original head sculpt could also use a revised version. I really think the silver painted accents and accessories look premium and pop on the figure. I enjoyed his transformation and his alt mode is very slick as well. If you need the BEST version of Sideswipe for your Legends collection you should get this release now!

2 stars sadly. The 2 pegs that are on the back of the feet in bot mode that connect on the roof in car mode absolutely will NOT fit together. In car mode I have a huge lip on the roof. I’m gonna try and sand it down or something. I don’t want put it in alt mode because of this. That whole tabbing on the roof and the sides of the car at the same time is frustrating. The figure even came apart in 2 pieces at the waist multiple times while attempting to peg the roof. The waist did snap together easy. Bot mode is very cool. The heads small. The paint is nice, it’s probably what’s causing the issue on the pegs from being too thick. I wanted to love it.
